I had the same set of lips to kiss when the ball dropped for the past 5 years. It was always at the Oconner house. It was always with the same people. It was routine. And I loved it. Ironically enough, we put an end to us because we had become routine. I miss routine. I want routine. I loved routine more than I’ve ever loved anything.
Talking to her definitely made me feel better. Or so I thought. I’m thinking it might have just been a quick fix because I find myself back in the same mopy ass state I’ve been in for the past 3 days. I’m really hoping tour can get my head right. Either that or I can always find solace in a nice bottle of Johnny Walker.

My bad mood has turned into blatant depression
$223.00 later, I now have a brand new mixer and hardcase to keep it safe. Shit is ballin. However my wallet has nothing in it but the receipt and some lint. Give me money.
Sleep It Off
I haven’t heard from her all day. Not once. Aside from the one worded responses I would get from the texts I sent this afternoon.
I’m sick of so many people and so many things. Thursday I’m out. If I had the chance to not come back I would. Just leave, start fresh, leave everyone and everything behind (with the exception of the few people that matter). I wish I could do that....
The sooner I can get out of this town for good, the better. Hopefully the phone call tomorrow can make that happen. Cross your fingers.
I still can’t get what Bridget said out of my head. “You let her go”. And the thought of her with some Vin Diesel lookin cocksucker doesn’t really sit well with me either.
Drunk
A quick update because I feel I can sleep without posting one. The show last night was awesome. It was a good day all in all with the exception of getting stuck on an icy road and having to pay $100 to get towed 240 yards. That’s right. 240 yards. Whatever. We still have about $600 to start the next tour with so I can’t complain.
Now I’m drunk. It was a good night. I...
We’re stuck in the middle of the fucking woods on a road with a 3 inch coating of ice. Fucking fantastic.
Notes to self: when sleeping in the van in the winter, leave your jacket on.
I feel bad making sam and mike split the hotel room themselves, but I just don’t have the cash to drop on a room. I really hope the van stays warm tonite. This 101 dalmations blanket is fucking disgusting.
Thirstaaayyy
Thirsty Fest was rescheduled for tomorrow. So instead of getting up at the asscrack of dawn tomorrow morning and sitting in traffic for two hours, we’re gonna start heading there tonight. Word.
I never heard back from her so I’m gonna assume papa duke said no once again. So much for that idea.
Hopefully I’ll find some interesting shit to throw up here. Writing about my...

I'm A Jew, A Lonely Jew, On Christmas
So for the first time in 6 years, I have no plans for Christmas Eve or Christmas day. It was the same thing every year, and I enjoyed it. Christmas eve was work, go to Elisa’s dad’s side of the family, eat and get drunk, then go to Elisa’s and exchange presents. Christmas day was Elisa’s grandma’s house with her mom’s side of the family, then go back to...
Christmosh fucking ruled. Definitely the best show we’ve played in a while. 600 people watched us play. 2 pits broke out and people were crowd surfing. Sold a TON of merch. Awesome awesome day. The only thing that would have made it perfect would be if she was there. Gonna sleep all damn day tomorrow. I’m beat.
Lame-o
This thing is much cooler when I’m on tour. Once the band becomes full time this will be a much more interesting blog to read. However I do like to walk over to people or things, take out my phone, put it in camera mode, and say, “it’s for my blog”.
Tomorrow is ChristMOSH. Come out. Be at The Crazy Donkey by 5:30. Buy tickets from us so we’ll still have money in the...
So the show tonight ruled. Not a huge turnout but definitely enough people were there to be able to say the show wasn’t a flop. Did really well in merch again and met a lot of cool kids. Its nice to know that there are so many open minded hardcore and metal kids out there who can still get down to some good old fasion pop punk. Bro’d down with Our Last Night and it was cool. It was sad...
So tonights show was fuckin badass. Definitely the best show of the tour so far. I don’t see tomorrow being better but if it ends up being better its gonna be one hell of a show. The kids tonight were super receptive. We sold a shit ton of merch and people actually threw down during our set. Its funny to see scary hardcore kids throw down to dance party ultimate remix. The promoter hooked us...
This is the second day in a row I watched the sun come up while driving. I used to hate it but it started to grow on me. I’ve learned in the past 5 days that I am most certainly the mofuckin rig master. Suck on that Tim Vargas.
Tonight we’re going out for Sam’s birthday. My goal is to get him to vomit all over Mike. That would rule.
I haven’t been able to get a hold of...
The show tonight was great. Played well, sold a bunch of merch, made a bunch of new friends. All in all a good time. It turns out that New Hampshire is expecting like 8 inches of snow tomorrow, so the show got moved to December 26th, which is awesome because it wasn’t cancelled, just postponed. So we’re driving back home tonight, enjoying a day off tomorrow, and playing the shows on...
So I drove til 9 this morning and decided to go to Niagra Falls. It was beautiful. Scoped out the scene for about a half hour then attempted to get some sleep. The drivers seat is not as uncomfortable as it sounds. Slept for like an hour and a half and was woken up by Jordan from Urgency telling me he’s coming to the show and that were more than welcome to shower at his place tonight. So...
So we got really fucked tonight. We got to the Standby office around 4:30am and Neil was a no show. Wonderful. We have to drive through the night after the show tomorrow to get to New Hampshire by 2:30 for load in which means no sleep again. So now we’re heading to Buffalo. We’ll probably get there between 9 and 10am and then I can hopefully get some sleep since I’m driving. The...
Today was awesome. Finally met up with Our Last Night. Really cool dudes. Pumped to spend the next week with them. It was really awesome to see all our Michigan friends. There’s a slight chance she might fly up to the show in buffalo tomorrow. That would be incredible, but I don’t think its gonna happen. Now were driving to cleveland to meet up with a potentially very helpful person....
Almost froze to death in the van last night. Holy shit was it cold. Pumped for Macs Bar today though. Gonna see Steph and Shannon and the street teamers. Should be fun. And steak n shake for breakfast is going to be fucking delicious
Started driving at 6:15pm, stopped driving at 1:45 am, and only covered about 100 miles. Took 3 hours just to get out of Chicago and then had to drive 40mph on the interstate cause the roads were so bad. I pulled over about 2 and a half hours south of lansing because the road had completely turned to ice. Another night in the van. Not that upset tho. Let’s hope the show tomorrow...
Slept for about 10 hours last night. Woke up feeling like a champ. The showcase got moved to 1pm cause Chicago is expecting 7 inches of snow. After that is the first show of the tour. About to enjoy a delicious breakfast at Denny’s. Life is good. Feel better stinkyyy :-*
Fearless went well today. Lots of fun. Go to www.fearlessradio.com and click on the podcast tab to download the interview. Livin it up in a Motel 6 tonight so we can shower and look presentable for the showcase tomorrow. Get pumped.
Just woke up. We slept in a walmart parking lot last night. I forgot how comfortable sleeping in the van can be when its not 95 degrees outside. 5 or so hours left til Chicago. Lou Malnatti’s tonight!
